[SOLVED] How to test RAM?

Hi,

I just forked out on some top of the range RAM. Cost me 200 (pence). I can feel my wallet coughing and wheezing. But hey, worth the price for high quality components, right?
So yeah, £2 RAM from China that I won on auction on eBay. I'm not loosing much at this price, but I'm wondering, when it arrives in 18-59 days, how would I go about to test the validity of this RAM? I'm talking about speed and capacity. I'm guessing a benchmark program/site will do the job, but haven't ever done this before so looking for pointers in the right direction.

Cheers
Conan

(P.S 2GB DDR2-667 SODIMM for anyone wondering what I got for such a good price)
(P.S#2 Free shipping as well!)

Solution
The best way to test ram and ensure it functions best is with memtest86+. Make a bootable USB with memtest on it. Load it up from your bios or boot menu, and then run it for 4 passes. if it doesn't have any failures (it will tell you if it does) your ram should run just fine. You can test it longer for absolute stability, but 4 passes takes an hour or two.
