How to to invert all mouse X and Y axes

Hello everyone.

I am trying to invert the mouse movement of a laptop touch-pad in both the horizontal and vertical directions within the operating system. I am running windows 10 - 64 bit, but I can easily change to either Windows 7 -64 bit or Windows XP service pack 1,2 or 3.

I don't really mind how it is done, (Registry edit, software etc).

I cant do that unfortunately. It is a track pad that is mounted into a case. I cant invert it either because of the length of the ribbon cable it uses. I have tried to look for a longer replacement, but i have not found anywhere that sells that type of cable to a custom length. I was also hoping to avoid having to pay for a solution if possible...

No. I tore apart a 7 year old Toshiba Satellite and put its parts into a chassis I made myself. It was very difficult to be able to have the track pad in the correct orientation with other design constraints to follow, and I was fairly confident there was a way to invert at least the horizontal movement.

You need a longer (extension?) cable so you can invert the track pad.

That would be preferable, but since its already mounted and I cant find anywhere that sells the type of cable that I need, I have to try and invert it in software...

I think you're out of luck. I've only seen that for Macs.
