How to tranfer files from one hdd to the other

So I have a 1Tb Hdd in my pc, I just got a 250gb ssd and a 2Tb Hdd. The 1Tb drive has 353gb used, meaning its too full onto the ssd. I have hooked up the 2tb drive and gone to bios where it is being reconised. but file explorer can't find it. How to I go about transfering stuff like my pictures and steam library onto the 2tb drive so I can free enough room on the 1tb to clone over to the ssd.

Open Disk Management.
Does the 2TB drive appear there? Is it a new drive?
