How to Tranfer pictures off sd card to format

Need to know how and where to tranfer pictures off sd card to format my card. Not sure how to find and Tanfer thanks

They should be located in a DCIM folder. Or simply do a search for jpg files, that is the format most pictures are in. Make sure you search for your video files also if you took video. How and were to, get a card reader, copy to a computer. Or copy to cloud storage right off the device.
