[SOLVED] How to transfer all files (including Windows) to a drive that already has files and back to a new one?

My laptop currently has both an SSD and HDD and would like to upgrade the SSD. There is only one SSD slot in my computer, and I don't want to do a fresh install of windows for the new SSD because I have other files and applications on the original one. Because of this, I figured the best thing to do is move everything from the first SSD to my hard drive, (which is not empty), and then back into the new SSD after switching them out. I guess my question is how would I go about moving all the stuff on the SSD, including the OS files, to a drive that's not completely empty? And then move those specific files back to the new SSD. This is my first time messing with the insides of a computer, so forgive me if none of what I said made sense. Thanks!
