I have a 120GB SSD, and had all my files and games on it until i got a new 1TB HDD. I have recently gotten a new HDD and I wanted to know how I can transfer everything but my Operating System to the new Hard Drive, because I want to keep my OS on my SSD but put everything else on my HDD.

Thank you all for the help.

Well there are program transfer software that allows you to do that. But you could get errors due to registry mismatches. I would just re-install the games. As far as saves, music, documents, those can be easily transferred over. Being that it's 120GB SSD, I imagine that it is not much to transfer

Welcome to the TH Community, @Slinkeymac!

You should be able to transfer most of your files onto the HDD using a cloning utility. Just make sure you use a tool that allows you to manually select the files/folders that would get migrated to the 1 TB HDD. If you are using Steam, I believe you should find a tutorial in their knowledge base on how to transfer the the installation and change its default location to the secondary HDD.
However, make sure you backup all your files and data somewhere off-site beforehand. This is essential whenever you are tampering with your storage configuration and this is how you will avoid any potential data loss. Be aware that there could be software tools that might need to get re-installed, though.

Hope this helps you. Good luck! :)
