How to transfer file from windows vista to other windows

i want to know how to transfer file(words) from window vista to other windows ..
because every time i open it on another windows it says the path is bla bla bla and im dumb on ict..
please!!
help me.!!

Well, the software which created the *words* would need to be installed on the system the document is being transferred too. If you need a little more time to get more bladdered, if that is possible, we understand.
