How to transfer music from my old iPod Touch to computer?

I've been trying to figure out how to transfer the music from my ipod to my computer as i just got a new one. The old Ipod is a generation 2 Ipod touch, and i just got new iTouch

PS: My OS is Windows 7.

You may need iTunes from Apple to transfer music files from iPod to computer or vice versa. But the files may not transfer to the computer especially if it is a different computer from the one you used when you transferred music files to the iPod due to digital rights thing.
