Hey fellas,

So ive just bought a new ssd which has 60 gb. Ive bought it because every program and game, mainly windows, runs a bit slow on my 1 tb hdd.

So i know Windows 10 can go in a 60 gb ssd but how. Ive tried to do some cloning but every time it wanted to clone my whole hdd. I only want Windows 10 for now on my ssd. If there is space left, obviously i will fill that with other programs.

So, my question is: how to transfer windows to my 60 gb ssd? Also should i do a fresh new windows or just my current windows?

Help would really be appreciated!

My pc:
I5 7600K
Asus Geforce GTX 1060 Turbo 6gb
1x8gb Ballistix ram
AsRock fatal1ty z270 K4
Arctic Alpine 11 plus
Seagate Barracuda 1tb
CSL pc led strip
Thermaltake Smart 600 Watt
Sharkoon TG5
7x 120 mm red ring fans
Kingspec 60gb ssd

1. You can't clone "only Windows" to a new drive.

2. A 60GB drive is really small, and really useless.

3. To clone into that drive, you'd need your actual used space on your current C drive to be below 40GB. Which I'm assuming is not the case.

For a new 60GB drive, this requires a clean install on that.
Which requires an install of all your applications as well. And various manipulation of all your other data.

This will be a pain.

So, i hope you will read this.

Windows 10 is currently on my ssd. nice indeed. but everything what is on my hdd (games, drivers and other softwares) wont start. it will give a error every time.

Yes, that is correct.
You have a new install on your new 60GB SSD.

It, and its Registry, knows nothing about your previous installations.
You need to reinstall them.

For Steam games, you can tell the new Steam Client that you're going to install, where those games are on the old drive.

In the steam client:

I believe Origin has a similar function.

Any other "applications"...reinstall.
