Its possible to try this out on any OS by hitting "print screen" every few seconds, and then periodically emailing the files to "myinfo@microsoft.com", you can cc: the NSA, and some hacker groups in China too, but MS will surely provide them to both eventually

The Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3 is a dog that loses to 5 year old smartphones, so it's not surprising that it takes a bit of time to use Recall. The fact that it can run it at all demonstrates that it's not the powerhouse feature it's being marketed as, but given the privacy concerns I won't complain that this feature is artificially restricted to the latest processors.

I doubt it's saving the physical screen shot. It's most likely running it through a segmentation and OCR model and saving the text and features that were in use at the time along with what processes were active into a local database for retrieval later. It might save a thumbnail for reference, but I would be surprised if the actual screen shot was saved...

Though we are talking about M$ here so maybe I wouldn't be too shocked.

Yeah no not for me. I think I will watch how this AI stuff pans out from the side lines. I guess I'm more of an analog frame of mind person. If I need to save something I will do on my own.

It can't be that because Recall is supposed to be able to bring up the screenshots it takes according to the promos, though the database would make for a quick index search for the screenshots.

I am jumping away... why would you want this on unsupported... fact it doesn't work on it is a great bonus. Don't need to avoid 24H2 on any PC unless its a Snapdragon and just ignore the feature completely.
