Hi guys, I just bought a fan that connects with usb port and it's inside my case and some how my case (CM 590 III | Cooler Master) has a hole that I took out the wire and connected in usb ports. the thing is that when i shutdown my pc or let it sleep the fan still works and I should disconnect the cable. any help ?
I am using windows 10 btw !

Most motherboards today supply power to USB port even when the computer is shutdown. Why? Some people use a keyboard or mouse to wake their computer and without USB power they couldn't. Also, some people use the USB port to charge phones and stuff. Fortunately, many motherboards offer a way to turn this off. The method depends on your motherboard and I would first check the owners manual. If your motherboard supports ErP, enabling that will normally shut off power to USB when the computer is shutdown.

I have Tuf b450 Plus Gaming

For that motherboard, enabling ErP should do the trick. In your BIOS, go to advanced mode and click on advanced -> APM. You should see the option there. If not poke around a bit. Looking for stuff relating to power. Sorry I can't be more definite than that, the owners manual does not have much BIOS info.

There are two options for enabling that => 1.enable (s4+s5) 2.enable (s5)
