How to turn off overclocking? (ASUS AI Suite)

I have an ASUS Z87 Pro motherboard and I installed all the software that came along with it - AI Suite and all of its components, of which I use Fan Expert and the USB charger quite a lot.

It automatically overclocks by CPU (Intel 4770k) by 19% and I do not really need that much power.

Could somebody please help me switch it off but at the same time, keep AI Suite?

Thank you for your reply. How exactly do I turn it off from the BIOS menu?

On boot press F2 Or del. It changes between systems and then navigate around until you find the OC settings and there should be some kind of option to change it. It is going to vary from BIOS to BIOS what it looks like.

AI suite is a software you installed,Changing the BIOS will do little since the AI suite changes the OC setting only with you in windows.


you can set it to default in the Dual intellgent processors 5 then go to TPU and hit DEFAULT ,it should have you reboot and it will load the CPU oc back to normal.

I figured it out:

I simply had to go to the BIOS by pressing 'Delete' and then I reset all settings using 'F5' and lastly, I used 'F10' to save the changes I made. Now it is all back to normal and AI Suite 3 itself says that my CPU has been overclocked by 0%.

Or you could just click on Deffault.

Where you can make changes and are about to click Apply instead click Deffault it is on the left.
