Tried reinstalling windows 10 but it seems that my SSD is now in a read only state, is there a way to fix this? (Read my other post for context)

Yes, delete ALL of the partitions on that drive, which normally will be "Drive 0" but might be "Drive 1" in some cases. Just delete ALL the partitions that are on that drive including System, MSR, Recovery and any others. Just select each partition and click Delete below, then when there are no remaining partitions on that drive and only unpartitioned space, click Next. Windows will automatically create any required partitions and perform all necessary formatting and then install where it needs to.

If doing that doesn't work then there is a problem with the drive.

If your SSD is in "read-only" mode it's probably a lost cause, i.e. the drive's "borked".

When problems are detected by the SSD's firmware, it switches to read-only limiting further data loss, allowing you to recover data before abandoning the drive.

If it's still within warranty, you could RMA it back to the seller, provided you haven't exceeded the lifetime write limit.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
