I plugged in my phone and was trying to find how to download pictures onto my computer, so I moved my mouse to the right of the screen and clicked devices. It was then saying about second monitors, so I clicked it, wondering what it would do. Now, when I move my mouse to the right, it doesn't stop at the edge of the screen, I carries on even though I can't see it, as though I have a second monitor connected to it. How do I turn this off?

There are a few things you can try...

1. Right click anywhere on the desktop and go to Screen Resolution. Click the Detect button and Windows should discover the lack of a second screen.

2. Hit the Windows key, plus P on your keyboard, and click the option "PC Screen Only".

3. If the above doesn't work, reboot the computer.

4. If the reboot doesn't fix it, download the latest video driver for your machine, uninstall the existing driver, reboot, and then install the new driver you downloaded. That will definitely force it to re-detect the available monitors.
