Recently the power button on my gaming rig stopped working. I've read somewhere before that you can power up your computer via the motherboard with a metal screwdriver/tool. I have a ga-78lmt-s2 and as a temporary solution I would like to know how to do this. I'm not exactly "computer savay" so visual aids accompanied by an explanation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance to anyone who took the time to help me!

2.Connect the two motherboard power switch pins together briefly, using a screwdriver or similar conductive metal tool.

3.Turn off the motherboard by connecting the power switch pins together again and leaving them connected until the motherboard shuts down. This mimics holding the computer's power switch in and signals to the board to turn off.
