how to turn on motherboard without case (msi)

I just got a msi Z97S Krait edition motherboard and my case is arriving next week so I put the parts together and tried to test it out without a case but I can't seem to find the place you need to connect with a screwdriver so can someone help me? Thnx

you cannot run the motherboard withot cabinet because you dont have switch and led lights etc. the main thing is you dont have switch to start. it is only in case so wait for the case to arrive otherwise you will be harming your motherboard.

That's why u got to change from a parts assembler to a builder. We need no stinking switch to power up a Mobo, short the 2 power pin with a screwdriver, BAM! that's what the power switch does right.

Experienced builders do this all the time, in fact is recommended that your first power up be OUTSIDE the case. I think folks here call it "breadboarding."

You obviously never built PCs or tested a motherboard outside of the case.
