How to turn on notification for low battery?

How do I turn on some sort of notification pop up to tell me that my battery on my laptop is low? Im not getting any warning for low battery so while im using my laptop it just dies while im in the middle of something.

search 'edit power plan' in windows (if that's your os) and click on advanced settings, then go into battery settings and change warning, critical, reserved levels.
