How to uninstall directx 9.0c

I downloaded directx 9.0c thinking it would improve my computer and it slowed things down on my computer. So I've been trying to uninstall it, to no avail this really sucks! Have any ideas?

What OS are you running? And what are the specs on the hardware in the system?

DX's tend to land in system folders so you are probably going to have a hard time getting rid of it. They are basically built into windows once installed so depending on your windows version it might not be possible to remove it.
