How to unmark Drive as Primary, computer still not off.

Hi, i have accidentally set a couple drives as primary partitions, then thought about the message it gave me, looked it up and realised this could become an issue. is cmd the only way to unmark the drive as a primary partition? because disk management doesn't seem to want to give me that option. even though i reselected rysrtem reserved as the primary, it still states that C: is still a primary

Any data on the 2nd drive? If not, try deleting it and re-creating...

The only consequence of having a partition marked as primary is that it may show up as a boot target in the first stage bootloader. This is merely a nuisance.

now that i think about it luckily i just backed up my drives a couple hours before, and i made both my C: and E: Primary's before i realised what i did. could i just restore my computer right now to be the easiest (though time consuming) way to resolve this issue?

Don't even bother trying to resolve it. Seriously, it's not an issue at all. You may be able to use some other partition management software to mark it as unbootable; EaseUS maybe? GParted?

Maybe, but Restore might just restore data and leave the two partitions as Primary...

now that i look back at it, i think i might have reset system reserved to the primary partition, when i rightclick on system reserved the activate on primary is unselectable, assuming that it is selected as primary, because C: and E: are considered selectable
