I recently got a ryzen 5000 series to upgrade from my 2600. i have a x570 asrock phantom gaming 4 mobo and need to update the bios. I have a pinnacle cpu so asrock listed an alternative way to update bios but that is not working. i unzip all the necessary files and when i attempt to boot from the uefi usb it flashes for a second and does nothing. leaving me on the same screen. any help would be greatly appreciated

Did you format your USB to Fat32 and rename the file to xxxx.ROM as per your MB manual.?
For flashback you only need power to the MB so power down your system and insert the USB into the correct flashback port and press the Flashback button for 3secs. It will begin to flash and takes a couple of mins to complete. Should the flashbutton stop and stay lit then there is an issue.
