How to update bios on mb with cpu currently not supported?

i'm going to buy ivy bridge processor and p67 motherboard with bios that doesnt support ivy bridge, so my question is: is it possible to somehow update bios on motherboard with cpu not working? will bios show when cpu isnt working? i'm just imagining me sitting with boxes of new pc components: motherboard, cpu, etc, what will i need to do to get cpu working on mb that doesnt support it... apart from assembling parts physically...

Why to buy P67 and Ivy CPU ? Wait for new mobos with direct compatibility with Ivy cpu's. Z77. You need a Sandy Bridge cpu to update the BIOS.

that would be the easiest, but i'm afraid prices of new mb will be much higher and for me spending a lot $ on mb is waste of money
