How to update my bios ?

I have a qeustion how to update my bios. Motherboard p4 p800-x. I have only CD ROM and usb flash drive ,i don't have flopy drive.

You USB Flash Drive will need to be formatted in FAT-32.

ok it says " CHECKING FOR FLOPPY NOT FOUND "
" CHECKING FOR CD ROM NOT FOUND "
IT dosent say anywere for a usb drive!

I just download them to my HD and use Asus Update Utility. Heard the occassional "scary story" over the years about why this is a bad thing from well wishers but do it well over 100 times w/o issue.
