I have a GTX 770 from Nvidia.

I checked my opengl version via opengl viewer and it reported that my version is just 4.4

How do I go update my GPU's opengl to the latest one?

Solution

368.81 is latest Nvidia WHQL driver.

GTX970 with this driver also shows full support only for OpenGL4.4 and 90% of OpenGL4.5

Edit: If I choose GeForce GTX 970/PCIe/SSE2 from drop down listbox at the top it shows 100% support for OpenGL4.5

My latest driver is 368.81.

However, I was googling the OpenGL drivers and I found a driver that is 369.00. Which one should I download?

You are looking at a beta driver. Anyways, I downloaded an OpenGL extension viewer, with a GTX 1070. It tells me that I support version 4.4 with the latest drivers. When looking at the details, it shows I support verison 4.5 (10/11). Meaning that a GTX 1070 supports all but one OpenGL 4.5 feature.

A GTX 770 is an older card, and isn't likely going to support as much as a GTX 1070 does. Meaning you'll only be 100% compliant with version 4.4.

It's likely a difference in what program you use to check compatibility. Some features are not needed to be considered compliant, but the viewer I used simply wants every feature to be considered compliant. It also tells me my GPU is only DX 9.0c complaint, but that's because there are some optional features that are not supported.
