I want to upgrade to a Ryzen 3000 cpu or maybe the Ryzen 5 2600. I won't be overclocking my cpu and just using the stock cooler, etc. However, someone online told me my ram is limited by a lower frequency though I think it's just 2400 mhz ram but not sure if this board supports it. I have it build and working fine but I read a review on Amazon that if you update the firmware and bios you can then overclock your ram to 3200 mhz or get 3200 mhz ram naturally supported on the motherboard. I only have 8gb of ram but plan to sell it and get 16gb of 3200 mhz ram in prep for the ryzen 3000 cpu. If they are no good then I will just get a Ryzen 5 2600 and call it a day cause I only do gaming and stuff. My current cpu is a Ryzen 3 1200, 8gb ddr4 ram, RX 570 4gb, 550 watt Corsair psu, 240gb ssd, 1tb WD Blue HDD. Any advice on my situation or should I just buy a new B450 micro atx board (only have an Matx case), cpu and ram when the 3000 series comes out? My Ryzen 3 1200 is fine for now.

Here is a link to the motherboard: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B078KBKFZ6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

You'll have to see what Gigabyte does to support Ryzen 3000 on your mortherboard before deciding. They may not support it at all since it's so low in the product stack. And you might find a 2600 is quite good enough since the 1200 is doing fine for now anyway.
