How to upgrade from windows xp to windows 8

Specs please. Because a pc running windows xp still has a high chance of not being able to run it.

1. There is no direct 'upgrade' from XP to Win 8 anymore.

2. Full specs of this system. It may well be too old and slow for a newer OS.

Honestly, Id suggest 10 over 8, as I have ran Windows 10 perfectly fine on a P4 (Ya know, for science)

Also, Dont upgrade, just do a clean install, just back up everything you need.
