How to upgrade to SLI in terms of software drivers?

I've just ordered myself two GTX 970's for SLI, and I'm currently running a single GTX 780. I'm just curious as to the process of upgrading in terms of drivers. In other words, will I have to uninstall my current GPU driver before physically removing and replacing my GPU for SLI, or does Nvidia somehow automate the whole process meaning I won't have to manually do anything with the drivers?

I have Nvidia's software installed on my system already, so is it just a case of plugging the new GPU's in and letting Nvidia's software do its thing when I start up the PC?

Thanks

Solution
step one uninstall all nvidia drivers (the drivers for the gtx 780)

Step two install new gpus

step 3 install drivers for the gtx 980

step 4 make sure sli has been set this is in the nvidia control centre

Does this mean uninstall just the driver or the entire Nvidia software as a whole? I'm not sure if there's an option to just uninstall the driver

Theres an option just for just the driver in the Control Panel>Uninstall A Program.
Also be sure to place both cards into each PCI slot then make sure the system reconizes both cards. Windows will install both devices automatically then shut down and install the SLI bridge then follow steps 3 & 4.
