How to upgrade windows 7 32 bit to windows 7 64 bit

Hello,i want to upgrade my OS from windows 7 32bit to 64bit. How about the application and softwares, are those 32bit softwares can work on windows 7 64bit? Please Help, thanks.

some 32 apps are compatable, however some are not. take the plunge and find out

Retail copies of win 7 contain both 32 and 64 bit versions. If you have a 32 bit OEM copy, you will need to purchase the 64 bit version. Most all of your 32 bit programs will run fine. You just need to make sure that all your hardware has 64 bit drivers for them.

All 32 bit apps that work in Win 7 32bit will work in 7 64bit. Just be aware that you need to do a clean installation using a Win 7 64bit disc; there is no way to "upgrade" to 64bit.
