How to use a router as Wifi Extender

Hi, I have 4 servers at home and I have a spare four port router. My issue is, it that My router is at the opposite end of the house, and I would like to be able to configure the router so it acts as a wireless extender aswell as a switch. I know that you can configure the router as either a wireless extender or a switch, but is there a way to have the router act as both so I do not have to buy a switch?
