The last version of the ADVANCED Codecs [Moderator edit to remove self-promotional link.] codecs in the installation version is 1650 and then these codecs are available only in the portable version. After unpacking the portable version, there are such files and folders

Tools
Launcher64.exe
ReadMe.txt
Contents of the ReadMe.xt file
Launcher64.exe removes previous versions of my software and also any other codecpacks you have installed.
Launcher64.exe will clear a memory block previously allocated to the App (this helps avoid a crash)
You can also execute ..\Tools\Settings64_portable.exe directly to use the Application.
I recommend using the Launcher.
To stop using this portable version, go to the Help tab and use the button, [- Remove ALL -]
This action unregisters the codecs and removes registry entries and ini files that were required by the App.
If you physically relocate this product from one place to another;
example, moving the distribution folder from the Desktop to some other place on your computer,
It is imperative that you use the button, [- Remove ALL -] to re-setup the codecs to their new location. (this helps avoid a crash)
To use these codecs, do you need to install the latest installation version of ADVANCED Codecs [Moderator edit to remove self-promotional link.]1650 and then replace the portable versions to the Program Files folder or ADVANCED Codecs [Moderator edit to remove self-promotional link.] 1650 do you need to uninstall and unpack the portable version in any disk space and run the Launcher64.exe file
Will running the Launcher64.exe file from anywhere on the disk automatically add information to the system to use these codecs in the portable version, and are these codecs automatically copied to the system folders or do you have to keep the folder with the portable version on the disk for the system to use them?
I use Windows 10 Pro 22H2 64 bit PL
Are these codecs also compatible with Windows 7?
Are these codecs better or is K-Lite Codec Pack better?
Do Windows 7 and Windows 10 have built-in koeks or do they need to be installed separately?
Windows XP and older require additional codecs to be installed.
Are there H265 codecs for Windows 98 SE?
I chose ADVANCED Codecs [Moderator edit to remove self-promotional link.] because it has a built-in Icaros program, then in the movie files from the Windows explorer view there is a view in the icons what is in the movie and I really need this function, but Icaros can also be installed separately if I choose other codecs.
Do the same codecs from different companies or different packages of the same codecs work together like antiviruses?
If I chose K-Lite Codec Pack, which edition?
K-Lite Codec Pack Basic
K-Lite Codec Pack Standard
K-Lite Codec Pack Full
K-Lite Codec Pack Mega Pack
Do Linux or MacOS systems also need codecs?
The exception is VLC Media Player, which is available for all platforms and has all the necessary codecs built in and plays videos from them regardless of what codecs are installed in the system.
