How to use an SSD help

Hello guys, i decided to buy an ssd, i know what the differenfe between HDD and SSD is both practicly same but ssd is faster in certain things.Now the thing that i dont understand lets say i have a game that needs 20 seconds to load on hdd and with ssd it needs only 10 do i have to install the game on ssd for it to be faster? Same with windows it it needs 30 seconds to start up on hdd do i have to install it on ssd for it to open in lets say 15 seconds or it doesnt matter where you install it if you have an ssd?

Only files that is stored on the SSD will benefit faster read and write time.
You would want your OS on the SSD and a few applications/games depending on what capacity you got with the SSD.

Thank you i get it now how much GB is really enough i only want OS and 1 game on my ssd since it takes like 10 minutes to load because of amount of mods and shaders that are installed the game in total is 84gbs right now i am not sure of 120 one is enough i was thinking about 240 one can you advice me which to get for a decent price?

Really, why would you want games on a SSD?
Goes faster, yeye, but with todays game devs and all the DLC, the SSD will get full in no time.

Lets say you have a 128GB SSD, you install windows, 100GB left, you then install Battlefield 4 on it, and another 30GB gone, and hey EA releases 4-5 DLC's, 15GB more each DLC. Well there you go, you just used a whole SSD on one game.

You get the point.

This is why a 250GB drive was recommended...
A 120GB for $65, or a 250GB for $99.

Yee... but heh still dont really like having games on SSD today, since todays games want good video/audio quality as you see on Battlefield, GTA 5 and Titanfall, tall these games requires maaassive storages just to install them, its insane how much data that goes into these games. (at least if you think about how little data games in 2005 required).

The fight for 'game size' vs 'drive size' has been going on far longer than that.
Back in 1992ish, the flight sim Falcon 3.0 came out. It used a whopping 40megabytes of space. Large outcry ovver the size of it.
