how to use both mic and earphones together

i have a klipsch s4, with the mic and earphones, but they only have 1 3.5mm jack, how do i use both at the same time?

some how my pc only recognizes either the micro phone or the earphones, not both

The PC has seperate mic, and stereo ports, you'll need an adapter like this one.

You essentially need one of these (listed below), it splits the 4-pole 3.5mm jack connector in to seperate mic and speaker input/output connections so that they can be used on you PC's soundcard.
