How to use extra 250GB of free space on cloned SSD?

I just cloned my old SSD (250gb) onto my new SSD (500gb) and got it into the computer. Everything is fine except for the fact that it is not using the extra 250GB of free space. I'd like to add it on to the C drive instead of creating a new drive for the volume.

Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

What did you use to clone the drive?

You have use the partition wizard to move a partition to the end of the blank space first.
Then you can use partition wizard to extend your C: partition to use all the blank space.
Do NOT create blank partition to get yourself stuck for no good reason.

How do I move them? Is there a name for the process?

That's the first thing I tried. If the free unallocated space is not beside the volume it does't work.
