Question How to use generic PS3 gamepad on Windows 10

OK, so I've run into an issue (obviously since it's a PS3 controller) where I am trying to get this darn thing to just work.

I have a generic 3rd party PS3 controller from Gamestop.
The brand is @ Play.

I tried using SCPToolKit but that wasn't working right.

I'm not even trying to really get it to work as a PS3 controller but just as a generic gamepad that can be recognized by emulators but it's not going so well.

The controller is wired btw.

If anybody knows the steps to take and the software to use on Windows 10 (and if I have to use compatibility mode and whatnot for software) to get this thing to work right then please let me know, thank you.
