how to use graphics card vga for projector

My cpu have only one vga and i need to use it for both project and monitor using extended display not duplicate, i bought an graphics card that has both vga and hdmi which i insert but my system his not giving me the projector option to use and also once i insert the graphics card it stop the vga on on the mother board frm working. help help here cus am using easyworship for the projector.

Hi Soji,

I don't know if you can use this, but here's a solution that worked for us here:
If you can - try and connect two monitors to your computer so it identifies an extended screen. When this setup has been recognized, disconnect the extra and replace it with your projector. This should now function as the extended screen.
Be aware that you might have to switch between which one is screen 1 and which is screen 2.

Our solution was based on a laptop connected to the projector via HDMI cable.

It would help to know some things about your computer. What graphics card did you buy? It sounds as if one of your displays has an HDMI input and the other requires VGA, is this correct? Do you know what the make and model of your motherboard is? There are programs, such as Speccy, that will give you detailed information on your computer specifications.
