How to use internet on my android mobile

Dear Sir,

I am using a cable connection for internet for my laptop. I want to share this connection for my android mobile also without any router. Can I share this and if it is possible then please how can I connect my mobile to latop?

Hi
You need to make Ad-Hook network with you laptop and Phone using WiFi adapter of the laptop
Then you share the LAN- Internet of the Laptop connection to that Ad-Hook network.
I have done this long ago ...... i need to recall the step by step ..... but you can google now you have direction
