So, how would you connect a new PC to internet? Im building my first PC build next week, link to parts: (N/A) my question is, do i use ethernet and just plug it in and tahts it? Do i need to do anything more than just get an ethernet wire an just plug it into the port after i use a usb to install windows 10? Will windows be able to recognize the cable? Also, is there a difference between ethernet cords? Will the one i selected on my list be able to work with my other hardware? Please assist, thanks.

You should use pcpartpicker.com to arrange build lists. It checks for compatibility issues automatically. Plus, we can see your full name on that link you just shared with us. I'd delete it out and retry.

As for your question, that cable SHOULD work, and it should not need to be set up. First time setup typically does not need an internet connection.

If you want, you can pick up a good 30-40 dollar PCIe wireless adapter, and not need to run a cable. I recommend TP-LINK, very nice brand.
