how to use molex adapter that also has pwm with it

hwo do i set this up my pwm fans are running too fast and very loud but people have got this too work.

The Molex Adapter does not have PWM control, it only supports fans with PWM, get a fan controller or use a fan limiter.

You can mod that cable to 7v by crimping the internal pin on the molex, pulling it out & putting into the opposite farthest hole - so you gave a pin on the outside each side.

Or you can just buy one ready made

Add that to the above cable & it'll run fans at 7v - about 55% speed.

I fixed it by plugging it in to cpu fan header

in the first port that is 4 pins on the adapter
