First of all I'm running on a dell 560 motherboard, cpu and HDD, and I got a new processor on an AMD FX-8350 with an Asus M5A97 motherboard.(they will be delivered in a week)
Currently I'm running windows 7 Home Premium and got a Windows 8 pro, and i plan to format. Got a few questions but now it's should I format when the new parts are ready to use, or should I format earlier and just wait for new parts to get here? Also, if you could tell me or show me an easy guide to start up a new computer.
Thanks for the help

Solution
Put in your new parts and re-hook up your HDD then.. start your PC up with the new OS in it and run through the processes. It will delete all your DATA though so backup on a external drive if you have one :)
