How to use new M.2 SSD as boot drive?

Hi guys,

I'm having a bit of trouble upgrading my PC. It came with a standard 1TB HDD installed for the OS and everything else. What I'm trying to do is clone Windows 10 to the SSD and use the old HDD as a storage drive for games. So for I've used Macrium Reflect and successfully cloned my C: Partition onto it. From here I thought it would simply be a case of booting into BIOS, selecting the SSD as the boot drive, then formatting the HDD should the process go well.

However, for some reason when I go into BIOS, the SSD doesn't appear as an option at all in the boot priority list. Any ideas? I'd really appreciate the help, this has had me stumped for a while now.

The boot configuration data maybe on a partition other than 'C', it could be on a hidden partition named "System Reserved". If you don't include that partition on the SSD it won't be bootable.

Normally when you clone, you should include all partitions which are required for booting in to Windows.

I worded my post a bit poorly, I cloned the whole thing but the C: Partition and the Recovery stuff were the only things on there.
