How to use Saitek Evo with Doom 3

How do I get my Saitek Evo to work when playing Doom 3? Can't get it to envoke. Looked at Options, but I don't see a way to enable the joystik.....bummed

Have you tried enabling your Saitek within Control Panel? Look for the Game Controllers applet there and see if your gadget's activated. Let us know if that helps!

Went to Control Panel...yes, it's there. I even got a Doom3 Profile download from Saitek.com... I just can't figure out how to enable the joystik in the game. KRUD!
(The joystick works great with Half-Life2) I did find the "Enable Joystick" option in that game... I just don't see the same function within Doom3.. Still bummed......

this wonderful program lets you use a gamepad with anything, hell, i use it as my mouse!


Anyway, it's basically a keyboard emulator, in that you assign keys to your gamepad.


Example: logitech dual action controller the Triggers would be the mouse buttons...


You don't need to shy away from PC gaming because of the supposed lack of gamepad support, this fills the gaps for everything.
