How to use T- Bird 1,2 on A7V

I wonder if anyone can give me hints about how to use a T-Bird 1,2Ghz/266 on Asus A7V version 1,01 at full speed?
I have tried just with the normal settings (in jumperfree mode) and changed multiplier in BIOS to 12x and after reboot it shows that its only 9,09Mhz!
Do I have to make any hardwarechanges or is it easyier then so! Really thankful for all help

You need to unlock (closing L1 bridges by pencil or conductive pen) your CPU before you can change its Multiplier to 12X.
As I remember, my A7V, rev.1.01 also, doesn't have Multiplier selector in BIOS (it uses Dipswitch).
Anyway, use <b>Jumper mode</b>, it's more reliable with A7V.

Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.
