Hi,
I would like to seek your assistance. I have a problem here with connecting my hdtv to my pc using hdmi. I recently bought a graphics card (gtx 1060) and samsung hdtv.
The problem is, when i hook up both vga and hdmi to pc it works fine but its always on extended display. When i disable the secondary display, disconnect the vga cable, or disable the onboard graphics card, the tv will produce an invalid format error.
It seems i cant connect my pc to tv using hdmi alone, is there a way to disable the vga on the mobo and just use the hdmi of the graphics card? And only use 1 monitor display? Thank you all in advance!
Btw im on win 10 all drivers up to date.
