how do i use the web cam on my windows7 laptop

If it's intergrated in the laptop ther should be software with a desktop shortcut to activate it so that you can see yourself on screen.
To use it to comunicate with others, you will need the appropiate software like Windows Live, Yahoo, Skype or some other similar type.

Your question is pretty vague! But take a look at these 2 sites for some great information. The first site gives you some webcams that are compatible with Windows 7, and the second site gives you a "how to" on setting up your webcam!
