Question How to use Windows Credentials for connecting network

Have a wired Desktop - Windows 10 and wireless Netbook - Windows 10. Previously was able to connect. Was told Windows 10 removed workgroup.

I have never touched or used Windows Credentials. Not sure how to use. When trying to connect in Network, is it asking for credentials of computer you are using or computer connecting to?

How do I connect Wired to wireless? Wired Desktop only show up when connected to Cat5 on Netbook. Cant get by credentials.

User name and password of computer you're connecting TO. It will help if both machines use same MS account, or same user name / password.

As for wired to wireless - some routers can block this, and consider wireless separate isolated neetwork.
