Question How to wake up black screen?

Hello,

How to wake up the black display screen without any input.

Sometimes the pc might be halfway doing something e.g. updates, installing and there might be a cancel button on the display then screen turns black and I do not want to accidentally input anything when waking up the screen.

What keys/action can wake up pc/laptop without input anything?

you can use all keys but: return, enter, space, esc
other then that you can just move your mouse to reactivate the monitor (if the pc is not in sleep mode)

Moving the mouse, or <Shift>, <Ctrl>, <Alt> - any key which will not trigger an action.

Depending on the dialog on the screen, a letter key might be interpreted as "Press that button".

Perhaps adjust the monitor turn off time in the power plan.

Then you won't see this problem.
