Hi there!

I have some unique thread to ask. As stated, Is it possible to play 1 video while the soundtrack regards to that movie is spread into 2 languages using 2 headsets. This quest is the fact that my parents don't understand English and Can't read subtitle properly(Too fast, Eyesore etc.), so I'd have to play him our native language dubbed. But I really hate dubbed so normally we would watching movies separately. But hey...movies are family activities so I think it would be really really nice if we could watch it together as a whole.

What I came up so far is a bit mess, but technically should roughly work. I'd put 2 sound card so that I could output 2 audio output at once. Each will connect to bluetooth audio headsets. Now I could play the movies with original soundtrack(Maybe with VLC player), set the audio output to the one headsets. While I open same movies using other program(MPC maybe) on parallel and set the audio output, in another languages, to another headsets.

What I need would be Flash's speed to play those 2 movies at the same time so there won't be lagged between video and audio.

I'm pretty sure this could roughly work. But I'd like to ask if there are any better solution regrading to my problems.

Thanks!!!

Logically it is possible, but the big question is how. You have stated your idea and the only thing that matter is verification. I think you can do that running 2 computers, 1 is for the audio (which is for your parents) and the other is for you (native settings).

On the other computer just, connect the audio input there and synchronize the audio to the movie.

Better set-up is a laptop and desktop. :)

Weird but fun. :)
