I am on a wireless network approxamatly 300 feet away. I connect with a hawking hawnu2 adapter. I want to boost the signal i receive through a router so i can get a usable signal strength for my devices. They have a very weak signal trying to connect at that distance. I want to boost the signal after i have received it here. How can i do this and what do i need to make this happen. The hawking adapter is usb if that has any bearing on what i need to do.

I would put an outdoor WIFI bridge pointed at the signal. Bring that inside with an ethernet connection and then setup a local WIFI access point/switch for your connectivity.

Something like the ENS202 outdoors with a good router like an Asus RT-N56U as an access point/wired switch indoors.

It is a private secured network but is a direct line of site to the dish transmitting the wireless signal. I have a 90-100 % signal strength and a 100% link quality to my desktop which the hawking is plugged into. I am restricted to this one spot for any kind of signal reception though.
