Hi,
I have a Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB which I wanna sell and wipe so no personal data can be 'undeleted'. Traditional methods like Darik's boot and nuke and similiar tools supposedly won't really work for a SSD and aren't beneficial for the SSD's health either so I did some searching for the right tool.
I came across this article: http://www.kingston.com/us/community/articledetail?ArticleId=10
on the Kingston website but the method used only mentions other types of Kingston SSD's to be supported. Does anyone know if my SSD is supported too? Ofcourse I could go trial and error but for example the program might report a succesful wipe, while it hasn't been wiped at all or only half and obviously that would be far from desirable.
Another option mentioned in many, many articles is the program Parted Magic back from the days when it was free. Nowadays you have to pay for it and I don't have a credit card or feeling very eager to pay for such a program either.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
