How to wipe an internal hdd externally.

Hi guys,
i have some hdd's and i'd like to know if i can wipe everything in it, but without connecting it to any pc. Like factory reset with a reset button or anything like that which completely wipes off everything. I can't connect them to any pc so my only option is to externally format them.

Without connecting them to a computer, you can use a sledgehammer or drill several holes through the entire drive.

But if you want them to be useful again, place them into a USB docking bay and run DBAN on them.

No reset buttons.
