I'm upgrading to a new PC, but I want to keep my SSD and HDD from my current system in the new one. From what I've read, the best way to do this is to wipe the OS drive and do a fresh install of Windows, so that there are no errors.

My question is, what is the best way to wipe the SSD? Can I do it from in Windows on my current PC? or do I have to do it using the BIOS? or can I wipe it after putting it in the new system, before installing Windows?

Solution
You do it during the OS install.
"Custom" install, and you'll be presented with a list of all partitions on it. Delete, each, leaving one blank space.
Continue on.

And do this with ONLY the one desired drive connected. Reconnect others later.
